Cut back on dust indoors with duct sealing

Learn what you can do if you are worried about indoor air quality.

With our climate controlled environments it’s more important than ever to be concerned about our indoor air quality. We close up our homes to keep in the warm air in the winter and the cool air in the summer and in doing so we also keep in all of those pollutants.

One thing you should know is that spring can be the worst time of year for the air quality in our homes. What can you do about it? An air filtration system can help this spring.

One Word: Allergies

Most of the worst allergens show up in the spring. When trees, bushes, and plants start to flower, here comes the pollen. And on top of that comes dust from spring cleaning, road work, and construction. Not to mention all that pet hair and dander from our pets’ spring shedding. And what about mold? Yep, mold makes a comeback in the spring too.

All of these allergens and irritants make their way into our homes on feet, shoes, clothing, belongings, and through open doors and windows. And once they’re in, they tend to say in.

Two Words: Air Filtration

There are so many benefits to an air filtration system in your home. In addition to pulling up to 99% of allergens from the air and trapping them, here’s what else it can do for you:

  • Reduce allergy attacks and irritation from airborne irritants
  • Reduce asthma flare ups triggered by indoor air pollutants
  • Better sleep due to less irritation from allergens as well as less inflammation in the sinuses, nose, throat, and eyes
  • Cleaner home with reduced airborne particles

Spring is the best time to consider air filtration. When your indoor air is clean, you have fewer allergy symptoms and better overall health.

The technician let me know what needed to be done, and we agreed what the cost would be. When he finished the work, he phoned back and told me he was able to use a less expensive freon and was able to adjust the bill. Very pleased with the work and will use them at another home I own.
